These Terms of Service apply when you use journeylab.io (the "Site") and journeylabapp.com (the "Service"), operated by The JourneyLab Company Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our").
The Site is our marketing and information website. The Service is the software platform we provide. These terms apply to both unless stated otherwise.
As a general principle, we take the utmost care with any information shared with us. As a company working with organisations and sensitive data, we hold ourselves to the highest professional and ethical standards. We are committed to being good data stewards in everything we do, from how we build our platform to how we conduct advisory work.
By using the Site or the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
You may use the Site and Service for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you are breaching these terms. We will generally try to contact you first.
To use the Service, you will need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. If you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account, please let us know immediately.
If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, the person who sets up the account (or another authorised administrator) may invite and manage other users within your organisation’s workspace(s). This includes the ability to invite our staff, if your organisation chooses to do so for onboarding or support purposes. Invited users are subject to these terms and any additional directions from your organisation’s administrator.
You retain ownership of any data you upload or create within the Service. This data remains your property (or your organisation’s property) at all times. We do not claim any ownership over it. We will only use your data to provide, maintain, and support the Service.
We do not sell or monetise your data in any way, and we do not use your data for artificial intelligence or machine learning training.
For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, please see our Privacy Policy.
We treat the data you entrust to us as confidential. We will not disclose your data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (for example, our hosting provider, AWS) or if required by law.
The content, design, code, and branding of the Site and Service are owned by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view the Site for your own personal and business use, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of it without our express written permission.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for those sites. We encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies before interacting with them.
Subscription fees and specific commercial terms for the Service are agreed separately with each customer, typically through a direct proposal or written agreement. If applicable, failure to meet agreed payment terms may result in suspension of access to the Service.
We work hard to keep the Site and Service accurate, secure, and available, but we do not guarantee that they will always be uninterrupted or error-free. The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" basis for general information. We do not currently provide an uptime service level agreement.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to your use of the Site or Service is limited. This does not affect any rights you may have under Australian consumer law that cannot be excluded.
These terms apply unless you have entered into a separate written agreement with us (such as a Master Services Agreement). Where there is a conflict between these terms and a separate written agreement, the separate agreement will prevail.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. Any changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site or Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the federal laws of Australia.
If you have any questions about these Terms of Service, please contact us at https://journeylab.io/contact.
